What's Happening

Kathy Youkstetter, a clinical psychologist and cancer survivor will be a guest speaker on March 15.  Kathy graduated with her master's degree from Boston College in 2000 and has worked at the Center for Life Management in various capacities since that time.  At 31 years old and with two small children, she was diagnosed with an agressive form of breast cancer.  She underwent a single mastectomy  along with chemo and radiation and completed her reconstructive surgery in September.  After her diagnosis, Kathy decided that going forward, she wanted to help and support other cancer patients and believes that the Salem Cancer Support Group at Granite United is a great forum for her to begin her work.
